It is my personal philosophy that your photographs should never be held hostage.
Within the world of professional photography, it is a common practice for many excellent studios to charge a set fee for a "session", and another fee entirely to receive the finished images. As a result, what initially began as a reasonable €200 fee quickly becomes a €600 exercise in unforeseen expenses and charges.
While I understand this business practice in theory, I disagree with it in principal. In the past, an age of analogue cameras and photo labs, your photographer was responsible for creating gorgeous prints that your family would treasure. With the advent of digital cameras and easy file-sharing however, you don't just want to print your pictures, you want to email them, post them on Facebook, update your blog, and make them into photo books.
Having hired photographers in the past, I know the frustration that can stem from realizing that your images have been branded with a watermark until an additional fee is paid for the watermark to be removed.
As a result I have built my studio around the philosophy that the images are yours. If you have booked and paid for a session, you own the images promised from the session - no strings attached. No hidden fees, no watermarks, and all the images will be high resolution and sized for printing.
Want a certain image sized larger for a canvas print? No problem! Just ask!
